Gamechangers, the first photo series collection on Giving Compass, demonstrates the importance of investing in brilliant Latino nonprofit leaders and their organizations to bring about lasting change. The collection highlights how the Latino Community Foundation is making vital investments through its Latino Nonprofit Accelerator, a first-of-its-kind program that supports grassroots nonprofits with fundraising, networking, and marketing support.

In the 15 years leading up to 2020, more than one-fourth of the country’s newspapers disappeared, affecting 1,800 communities. But there is good news (no pun intended): Journalism-focused philanthropy has nearly quadrupled since 2009.
